The Gravenhof castle was built by the Baron Le Roy in 1649 and is located in the flemish part of Belgium, very close to Brussels. Formerly the castle was surrounded on all sides by water and access was via a drawbridge. In the 19th century the four corner towers were added to the castle. Today the castle is a hotel and restaurant, quite famous for wedding receptions, anniversaries or birthday parties.
It is located in a beautiful parc
the front of the castle
a little river all around
the backside
and also some beautiful sculptures, unfortunately I don't know who did them.
Although it was very cold a walk through this beautiful parc was worthwhile. It must be the ideal background for wedding pictures.
