A WALK THROUGH MARRAKECH

My roundtrip through Morocco

Last year at the same time I had already been visiting Marakech. (you can read in this post), so this time I just take you on a walk through this amazing city, which combines old and new and where Muslims, Christians and Jews live together in harmony.

the city wall

the station

a very busy town

the university

One of the busiest squares in Africa and the world, Djemaa el Fna.

some folklore

see the TV dishes over the souq !

little chats while waiting

Behind an very old building, when the door is open you

suddenly see this

so many contrasts

trucks and horses for transport

Teenagers enjoying a free schoolday

this man dries animal skins for leather goods in the sunshine on the street

Like on all banks in the world .... a love declaration

coffee is an art

a snake charmer

and a drummer

Hi Gattina! Marrakech is a superb place to visit! And your pictures show!! But sometimes you were driving, rather than walking... ;)

Wonderful pictures Gattina. Thank you for bringing my attention to this blog. My wife and I will look at all of the Belgium posts for ideas. My wife Vicki is also looking forward to seeing your cat blog, she has one too Lucy's Cat Lounge. We have two 14yr old cats.

It would be great to meet for a drink!
We are still working out the details but we should be in Brussels from Oct 29 to Nov 2, then a few days in Brugge and Paris for a week. Jientje is going to show us Antwerp on Saturday Oct 30th.
