Under the name "Folklorissimo" a big festival took place on the Grand'Place in Brussels.
On Saturday I went there to have a look. Despite the grey and cold weather, there was a very cheerful atmosphere !!
an overlook on the Grand'Place. There was a lot to eat and drink. Beer flowed in streams !
Different Brotherhoods or Guilds had there stands and served food or drinks
The street to Manneken Pis was packed with tourists
People danced on the place
even the giants were dancing

Manneken Pis was carried through the crowd
See the moustached man on the bottom right ? He had a little pump which he activated and Manneken Pis sprinkled over the people, which caused a lot of laughter when the people jumped in the air by surprise !
Pictures of his costumes were exposed, he has over 300 costumes, offered by the countries of the whole world.

The Brotherhood of "Kiekefretter" which litteraly means "Chicken gobblers" served roasted chicken of course
for more posh gourmets also oisters were available
